In limit games, when there are three or more players involved and all players have not gone all-in, games with two betting rounds (draw or lowball) will allow a bet, plus four raises. In a game which involves three or more betting rounds, the maximum raises allowed are three. I need to know how the money is split: Player A: All in KQ ($8) Player B: All in QJ ($8 and $2 side pot) Player C: All in AK ($8 and $2 side pot call plus extra) Board 10, J, Q, Q, 9. I know Player C wins everything. What happens in a tournament to Players A and B? Do they split the 2nd place prize?

Tie-breakers and Kickers

When multiple players have the same poker hands, the extra cards come in to play. These extra cards are called 'kickers'. The player with the higher kicker will take the pot when this happens.

Both players have a pair of kings, but the winner of the pot is Player B because he has Player A 'out-kicked'.

In a high card or one pair hand tie-breaker, both players can sometimes have the same kicker. In this case the second kicker is used, and then the third, and so on. If both players’ best five card poker hands are identical, then they share the pot equally.
